2020 so far.....

Well 2020 certainly hasn't been the year we originally imagined it to be. With our diary full of bookings and an eagerly anticipated to Edinburgh Fringe on the cards we were excited about what it held. Obviously things haven't quite panned out how we planned.

We haven't put on a live show in 7 months now, which is our longest stint without a performance since we started the company 5 years ago. However, never ones to shirk a challenge here at Highly Suspect HQ we thought about what we could do to create new digital content for our sleuths.

If you haven't already, you can play along with our entirely online mystery The Social Media Murderer

or watch our first web series of The Unreliable Narrator where we combine a murder mystery with a memory game. Perhaps our most 'pinch me' moment was when we received a review in The Scotsman for our zoom murder mystery The Murder Musketeers that we were able to put on thanks to the brilliant support of our Edinburgh Fringe venue TheSpaceUK as part of their Online@TheSpace Festival. We think The Scotsman were spot on when they called us "A Cluedo Style Escapade complete with groan worthy puns and dastardly double entendres!"

As we head into Autumn we still have some new projects to announce (including one that is extra special uber exciting!) - first and foremost A Highly Suspect Halloween, which sees us take part in the acclaimed Headlong Theatre's nationwide project for touring theatre companies to create Signal Fires of work celebrating live performance. Check out their webpage for more information on the brilliant Signal Fires running up and down the country.

We can't wait til we can be back bringing fun, frivolity and fatalities in person, but until then, please do follow us on our social media channels (@HighlySuspectUK across all platforms) to keep up to date with our plans, projects and content. And as always - stay Suspect!
